We are a collective of health care professionals and providers who are passionate about delivering quality, affordable healthcare services to the wider West Auckland community/whanau. Our team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals are committed to improving, maintaining and restoring the health of our patients.

We aim to do this by:

  • Providing high quality integrated health services to patients and whanau with standard fees of no more than $16 for adults enrolled with one our Health Centres
  • Assisting those most in need/at risk to timely and appropriate health services
  • Understanding and reponding to the health needs of patients and whanau
  • Promoting and/or facilitating the education and distribution of health information to patients and whanau
  • Supporting the promotion of healthy communities
  • Recognising the Treaty of Waitangi as the founding document of New Zealand and its importance in carrying out the objectives of the trust.

Maori Health Strategy

Te Ara Tika is Waiora Healthcare's Maori Health Strategy which targets tamariki (children) aged 0 - 12 years and Maori men aged 12 - 44 years, in Waitakere City. It was launched on March 18, 2009 at Hoani Waititi Marae in Glen Eden.
